Pierce, Riesbeck & Associates LLP concentrates
in servicing privately held businesses

Our firm is capable of performing any level of accounting and tax-related service
from simple compilations to complex audits. Our typical client is the family-run,
closely-held business. We can relate to our clients and talk as business owner
to business owner.

We offer a computer consulting division that handles a wide range of specialized
IT services, from designing efficient computer business systems, to evaluating
and setup of accounting software and providing on-site training and support.

As an established accounting firm with many resources, we can assist you
with your current needs and help you plan for the future. Our clients view us
as a reliable source of financial information and advice. Our input is important
to our clients’ financial decision making process.

The relationship that we develop with each client is that of a long-term,
trusted advisor. In some cases, we have advised two generations in family-
owned businesses.

We can also link you to our professional network of advisors. We have
professional alliances with law firms, financial planning groups, merger and
acquisition specialists and bankers.

Gregory J. Pierce, CPA
Partner
Greg is committed to providing a high level of professional service, bringing to his clients over thirty years of accounting and business experience. He combines his taxation expertise with additional specialized professional level coursework and training in business valuation. Greg specializes in family businesses, business valuations, plus small business taxation and succession. Included in his areas of concentration are estate and gift tax planning, personal taxes and business structure. Greg has substantial work experience with non-profit organizations, manufacturers, the trucking industry, wholesalers, and professional service corporations. He has performed Peer Reviews of other accounting firms for over 15 years and currently serves on one of the ILCPA Society Peer Review Acceptance Body Committees. During 2011 Greg was a recipient of the Distinguished Service Award from the Illinois CPA Society for his volunteer service to the Society.

Dione concentrates in the area of Information Technology. She is dedicated to
helping business owners manage their companies more efficiently by providing
a number of computer consulting services. Dione is credentialed as a Certified
Novell Administrator, a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, and a Certified
QuickBooks Pro Advisor.

Dione has successfully been offering technical consulting services to businesses
for over 12 years, keeping pace with the constant advances in computer technology.
She is committed to sharing her knowledge and experience with clients by
providing quality advisory services.
